FAQ

TallyPrime eInvoicing — Frequently Asked Questions

Does TallyPrime charge per eInvoice transaction in the UAE?

No — TallyPrime does not charge an additional software fee per eInvoice transaction. An active Tally Software Services (TSS) subscription is required, and separate ASP charges may apply.

Can I use my existing TallyPrime licence, or do I need a new one?

In most cases you can use your existing licence, provided it's on a supported release with an active TSS subscription. We check this as the first step of any engagement before recommending anything new.

Do we still need an Accredited Service Provider (ASP)?

Yes. UAE eInvoicing runs on a five-corner model, and an ASP handles the exchange and reporting between your business and the government infrastructure. We help you select and connect one as part of implementation.

How long does TallyPrime eInvoicing setup usually take?

It depends on how clean your existing data is and which TallyPrime release you're on. A straightforward setup on a recent release with reasonably clean masters moves faster than a migration from an old version with years of inconsistent data.

What if our TallyPrime data isn't well maintained?

That's a normal starting point for most businesses we work with. We review your existing company data, flag what's missing or inconsistent, and handle the cleanup before configuring eInvoicing.
